Nazca offers a truly unique destination filled with mystery and mysticism. Discover the immense and precisely drawn Nazca Lines—enormous geoglyphs etched into the desert plains—crafted by one of Peru’s most ancient civilizations.

05:00 AM – Departure from Lima

We pick you up from your hotel in Lima and begin a 245 km journey via the Panamericana Sur to Paracas. We’ll make a short stop in Chincha for restroom use or to optionally enjoy a typical local breakfast.

08:00 AM – Ballestas Islands Tour

We board a motorboat to the Ballestas Islands. On the way, we’ll see the “Candelabro,” a large geoglyph carved into a sand hill. At sea, we’ll observe marine biodiversity including Peruvian boobies, Guanay and red-legged cormorants, pelicans, Humboldt penguins, sea lions, and dolphins. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours before returning to the private dock.

Departure by bus from Paracas to Ica, arriving at approximately 11:30 AM.

  • Tour of a traditional artisanal winery (“El Catador” or “Nieto”) with pisco and wine tasting.
  • Stop at the Sanctuary of Luren, witnessing the reconstruction after the 2007 earthquake.
03:00 PM – Visit to Huacachina Oasis

Arrive at the natural oasis of Huacachina, surrounded by giant dunes and lush vegetation. Free time to explore, photograph the oasis, or relax before the adventure tour.

The “Adventure Tour Ica and Paracas – Buggies & Sandboard” was an absolute blast! Riding the buggies across the massive sand dunes gave me such an adrenaline rush, and sandboarding down those slopes was so much fun—even for a beginner like me. The landscapes were stunning, with endless dunes and beautiful desert views. The guides were friendly and made sure everyone was safe while having a great time.
