To begin the tour, we will pick you up from your hotel 40 minutes before your train departure and transfer you to the San Pedro train station. There, you will board a “PERURAIL” company train and start your journey towards the town of Aguas Calientes (2,000 meters above sea level), a trip that lasts approximately 4.5 hours.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we will head to your 3-star hotel.
In the afternoon, you will have free time. You may choose to stroll through the town, shop for souvenirs, relax in the hot springs, or visit the orchid garden, the butterfly house, and the Aguas Calientes waterfalls on your own.

In the evening, our guide will meet you at your hotel to provide you with all the necessary information for your tour the next day. After the briefing, you may also visit the local hot springs if you wish.

Second Day – Visit to Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu

Early in the morning on the second day, we will head to the bus station to ascend for 30 minutes to the incredible world wonder, “The Sanctuary of Machu Picchu,” known as “The Lost City of the Incas.”
Upon arriving at the Machu Picchu citadel, we will go through the control point where we will present our entrance tickets and begin the guided excursion.
During the 2-hour guided tour, you will visit the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the cemeteries.

After completing the guided tour of Machu Picchu, optionally, you can hike to the summit of Huayna Picchu or to Machu Picchu Mountain. These hikes will take a few hours, allowing you to enjoy stunning landscapes and take breathtaking photos (this visit is unguided).

In the afternoon, we will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes, retrieve our luggage from the hotel, and head to the train station in advance for the return journey to Cusco.
Upon arrival at the San Pedro train station, our staff will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel.
