The journey continues as you travel across the Andean highlands to reach Puno, gateway to the world’s highest navigable lake — Lake Titicaca. Experience the unique cultures of the Uros and Taquile Islands, where ancient traditions still thrive. Day 1 – City Tour in Lima

Upon arrival at the Lima airport, our staff will be waiting with a sign bearing your name to transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, we begin our city tour through the modern residential districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, including stops at the financial center, El Golf, El Olivar, Huaca Pucllana, and the Love Park in Miraflores. We continue to Lima’s Historic Center to explore San Martin Square, Plaza Mayor, and the Convent of Santo Domingo. A complete and comfortable tour.

Day 2 – City Tour in Cusco

After breakfast, transfer to the Lima airport for your 1-hour flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for a coca tea and acclimatization. At 1:00 PM, begin a guided city tour visiting the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, Santo Domingo Church, Qoricancha Temple, and the surrounding archaeological sites of Q’enqo, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay, and Sacsayhuaman.

Day 3 – Sacred Valley Tour

Pick up at 8:00 AM for the Sacred Valley tour, starting with a visit to the Pisac market and archaeological site. Enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba, then visit the Ollantaytambo fortress. In the afternoon, board the train at 4:36 PM to Aguas Calientes, arriving around 6:09 PM. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 4 – Machu Picchu Tour

After an early breakfast, take the bus to Machu Picchu for a 2-hour guided tour of the citadel. Optional hike to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (not guided). Return by bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon, take the train back to Ollantaytambo and transfer to Cusco.

Day 5 – Tourist Transfer from Cusco to Puno

After breakfast, travel from Cusco to Puno by tourist bus with guided stops. Visit Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, and La Raya, with a buffet lunch in Sicuani. Upon arrival in Puno, transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Day 6 – Lake Titicaca Tour

After breakfast, transfer to the port to visit the Uros floating islands and then Taquile Island. Learn about local culture and customs. Return to Puno, pick up luggage, and transfer to Juliaca airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 7 – Transfer to Paracas

After breakfast, transfer to the bus terminal and travel to Paracas (approx. 4.5 hours). Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Free afternoon to explore Paracas.

Day 8 – Ballestas Islands & Nazca Lines

After breakfast, transfer to the port for the Ballestas Islands tour, passing the Candelabro geoglyph and observing marine wildlife. Afterward, tour the Paracas Reserve. In the afternoon, transfer to the aerodrome for a 90-minute Nazca Lines overflight. At 4:10 PM, return to Lima by bus, arriving around 8:10 PM. Transfer to hotel or airport.

The “Complete Peru 8 Days” tour was a fantastic way to discover the highlights of Peru in just over a week. From exploring the historic streets of Cusco and the Sacred Valley to marveling at Machu Picchu, every day was filled with incredible sights and rich culture. The pace was just right—not too rushed, allowing me to fully enjoy each destination. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, making the experience even better. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to get a great overview of Peru in a short time.
