By selecting a program with “Viajes Puma”, you agree to carefully review and accept the following terms and conditions. Making any payment confirms your acceptance and binds your reservation to the rules stated herein. These terms apply to all tours and excursions provided by our company.
Itineraries may be subject to changes due to weather, river conditions, or group preferences. “Viajes Puma” is not responsible for the loss, damage, or theft of clients’ personal belongings or any resulting consequences. We are also not liable for any illness or accidents occurring during the tour; all related expenses must be covered by the client. Furthermore, clients are responsible for any borrowed equipment and must cover any losses or damages before returning to Cusco. By booking, clients confirm they are in good physical and mental condition. The company is not liable if this statement proves to be false.
Please contact us before making any payment for guidance. To confirm your booking, a 50% deposit per participant is required. This deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation by the client.
We will only confirm your reservation once we receive written confirmation from our side. Payment methods include Western Union, PayPal, and other online platforms. Clients are responsible for any bank or transfer fees.
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. The remaining balance must be paid at least 24 hours before the start of the tour at our office. We accept:
Cash (in Peruvian soles or U.S. dollars)
Visa card (subject to an 8% fee)
The agreed-upon per-person price at the time of confirmation will remain fixed.
To cancel a reservation, you must send a written notice to “Viajes Puma.” Please note the deposit is non-refundable. We recommend reviewing your travel insurance policy for potential coverage of cancellation reasons.
Refund conditions:
More than 15 days before the tour: 50% deposit is forfeited
Between 15 and 7 days before the tour: If 100% was paid, a 50% refund of the total cost will be issued
Less than 48 hours before the tour or partial cancellations: No refunds will be provided
In the event of unforeseen circumstances (technical issues, severe weather, strikes, government actions, civil disturbances), we will make every effort to offer alternative plans or equivalent trips. No refunds will be granted in such cases. Itinerary changes may be necessary, but we will maintain the agreed level of service.
For significant changes, we will notify you before the tour and propose a comparable alternative. Any additional costs will be the client’s responsibility. We are not responsible for any related expenses, such as flights, visas, or vaccinations.
If “Viajes Puma” cancels the tour, a full refund of your payment will be provided.
Our tours are designed to offer authentic, immersive experiences, which may carry inherent risks such as physical or emotional injury, paralysis, or even death. By participating, you voluntarily accept these risks and confirm your awareness of your health and physical condition. “Viajes Puma” is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages during the tour.
During the tour, the guide or company representative holds final authority on safety and group decisions. Participants must follow all instructions and comply with Peru’s strict drug-related laws. Any violation or behavior that jeopardizes group safety may result in expulsion without refund.
Clients must carry a valid passport, either the original or a copy, during all excursions.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that includes:
Accident and medical expense coverage
Emergency repatriation (including air evacuation)
Coverage for trip cancellation or disruption
Baggage loss protection
While “Viajes Puma” provides many services directly, we also work with airlines, hotels, and other third parties. These providers operate independently, and we are not responsible for delays, damages, or inconveniences caused by them.
If you encounter any issues during the tour, please inform your guide immediately so we can address the situation. Additional complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days after the tour ends.
All disputes will be resolved exclusively in Cusco, Peru, under Peruvian law, with Cusco courts having sole jurisdiction.
Monetary claims against “Viajes Puma” are limited to the value of the disputed service. The company will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, damages, or missed profit opportunities.
We appreciate your trust in “Viajes Puma” and wish you an unforgettable adventure!
