The geography of the Cusco region features a diverse terrain, ranging from warm valleys to dazzling snow-capped peaks. To explore these wonders, many hikes follow ancient trails once used by the original inhabitants of the Andes, who mastered the rugged geography with ease.

The 4-day Lares Trek to Machu Picchu is an excellent way to experience the Andean landscape, passing through valleys, rivers, crystal-clear lagoons, waterfalls, queuña forests, and small traditional villages that preserve their ancient way of life. In addition to the mountain trek, this program culminates with a visit to one of the New Seven Wonders of the World—Machu Picchu.

The “Lares Trek via Patacancha 4 Days” was a truly memorable experience. Hiking through the Patacancha route gave me amazing views of the Andes and a chance to immerse myself in traditional Andean culture. The local communities were warm and welcoming, sharing their customs and daily life with us. The trek itself was challenging but rewarding, and the natural beauty along the way was breathtaking. Our guides were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this trek for anyone wanting a genuine and peaceful adventure in the mountains.
