The Urubamba River stretches from the high Andes mountain ranges, flows through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, past Machu Picchu, and into the jungle. Along its course, you’ll experience thrilling white-water rafting adventures, depending on the river section and the time of year.

One of our most popular rafting sections during the season is Chuquicahuana (“Chuqui”) on the Upper Urubamba River. This stretch offers exciting Class III rapids and is known for its clean, unpolluted waters.

This section is more intense, ideal for adventurers seeking adrenaline-pumping action. To ensure your safety, we also include a safety cataraft or kayak for additional support.
